Season sponsorship underwrites the direct costs of bringing world-class artists to the Kahilu Theatre. Artists are chosen through a careful process of listening to community input, analyzing audience surveys, and collaborating with the Performing Arts Presenters of Hawaiʻi consortium and other arts organizations. After formulating a tentative schedule in early spring, we invite our valued Kahilu friends to preview and support their favorite performances. Kahilu Theatre then continues to shape the season and presents the final program to the public in the late summer.

The Kahilu Theatre presenting Season runs September through June. The Presenting Season also includes Kahilu Produces shows that train Waimeaʻs youth in the craft of acting, musical theater, and dance. Kahilu Exhibits runs year round and showcases local and global visual artists, both emerging and established.

Friends of Kahilu Theatre are essential partners in strengthening our mission and vision, and enhancing our arts education services to ensure we offer a high quality and comprehensive program for our islandʻs youth.
