Kahilu Exhibits is pleased to welcome back Hawaiʻi Handweavers’ Hui’s Biennial Juried Exhibition. “Surrounded by Water” is an international exhibition juried by Stacie Robinson, a Research Ecologist with NOAA’s Hawaiian Monk Seal Research Program. This year’s exhibition will first be on view at Downtown Art Center in Honolulu. Award-winning artworks, as well as those created on Hawaiʻi Island, will travel from Honolulu to Waimea for Kahilu’s exhibition. The exhibition will open with a pubic reception on Thursday, August 24 from 5:00pm - 6:30pm and will remain on display through October 30, 2023.
