Spring Awakening is a Broadway musical with a powerful story that explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood and touches on several sensitive coming-of-age subjects. 

Participants and legal guardians are asked to review the subject matter of the show before auditioning.


    Requirements

  • Bring a theatrical resume and to come prepared both vocally and physically.

  • Sing a song from a contemporary musical theater or rock musical theatre song. Sheet music will be provided for those who wish to sing songs from the Spring Awakening score.

  • We ask that sheet music be brought for the accompanist for those who wish to audition with a piece from another contemporary/rock musical.

  • No monologue preparation is necessary as all actors will be provided with script materials and asked to read sides.

  • The audition process will require participants to learn and perform choreography.

  • Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear; no open-toe shoes.

    Callback date will be announced after auditions.
